Love in the Jeans Department


Love In The Jeans Department has two elements. There is a story and there is also a competition with interactive audience-participation games. These games are based  on the functional language and phrases that feature in the story. These competitive games make this show one of the most interactive in the repertoire of the theatre.

The story is about two teenage girls, Jo and Sam, who are best friends. Their friendship becomes complicated though when Sam falls in love with a boy  and Jo becomes jealous. The teaching side of the show concerns functional language connected with shopping and making offers. It also deals with commonly confused words like ‘lend’ and ‘borrow’.
